Lucile's is one of the most popular breakfast places in Fort Collins partially because of their DELICIOUS strawberry rhubarb jam and fresh biscuits that come with every meal. It is about six blocks east and one block north of the house.

This casual restaurant has tableside service for dinner, but it's an order-at-the-counter place for lunch. I really like the pesto chicken burrito at La Luz and also love their salsa bar.

This is a great hike in Lory State Park that allows you to take in a view of Fort Collins. If you happen to be here on the Fourth of July, the view of the fireworks is amazing.

This is a great park - and it is three blocks from the house. The pond has ducks and geese. There is a grassy knoll that is perfect for hill rolling (where you lay on your side and roll down the hill). There is also a pickup ultimate frisbee game every so often. Check out the kiddie park and trolley.

RMNP is a great place to hike and enjoy nature. There are beautiful high elevation lakes, cascading streams, and lots and lots of elk. If you're here in the fall, go to the park early in the morning (around sunrise) to hear the elk bugle. Also check out Trailridge Road, but don't hang out on a mountain peak after noon in the summer because lightning and thunderstorms are common in the afternoon.
