Famed in the Middle Ages as King Arthurs Round Table, the amphitheatre at Caerleon was built to serve the Roman legionary fortress of Isca around AD 90.

Unfortunately it isn't currently offering any shows! But it is well worth a visit as part of a day in Caerleon alongside the Fortress Baths and the National Roman Legion Museum. Open daily 9.30am to 5pm. Free admission.
