Join us for a 3hr historical stumble down the "street of shame". Starting in the shadow of the iconic St.Paul's cathedral, we explore the tiny backstreets and rambling courtyards the ancient City of London is famous for. We follow in the drunken footsteps of literary greats including Dickens, Shakespeare, Pepys & Johnson whilst pausing for a drink in at least 4 of the most historic pubs dating as far back as the 1500's. From discovering art nouveau gems to glamorous Victorian gin palaces we enjoy a variety of pub styles and breweries along the way. It's not a prescriptive tour, so you choose & pay for your drinks along the way. We're here to offer recommendations, and you can often "sip before you sup" with a few tasters on request from the bars along the way. This allows you to indulge as much or as little as you desire! Non-drinkers can soak up the history, and wine & gin-lovers are also well catered for. We usually finish up on the edge of Covent Garden perfect for theatre-land, restaurants and of course more pubs! Other note: - Guests are recommended to be over 18 years of age to enjoy the walk at its best. Anyone lucky enough to look under 25 years of age should bring photo ID - Group sizes of up to 14 participants - Alfie the dog is not always in attendance. Sorry! N.B. Over afternoon tea, I’ll guide you through the elegant world of royal protocol, drawing on my years of service within the Royal Household. • We’ll begin with an introduction to the art of graceful greetings and proper introductions, the first impression of etiquette. • Next, I’ll guide you through the nuances of traditional afternoon tea—from choosing the correct utensils to the proper way to sip your tea—all within the regal surroundings of The Rubens. • I’ll open the floor for any questions and share fascinating anecdotes from my time as a butler to the Royal Family, offering a rare glimpse into royal traditions and behind-the-scenes moments. By the end of our time together, you’ll not only master the essentials of British etiquette but also experience a taste of royal life in a setting fit for a king or queen.

We’ll give you an insider’s look at the life of a chocolatier and teach you how to savour our sweets like a professional. • Over a glass of sparkling wine or elderflower soda, we’ll share a little about Rococo Chocolates’ history and our commitment to British ingredients. • Our chocolatier will lead you on a guided tasting of chocolate, paying attention to its colour, snap, and aroma as well as the layers of flavour that unfold on your palate. • Then we’ll apply your newfound evaluation skills as we sample Rococo chocolate classics like Earl Grey and Rose & Violet Creams, as well as limited-edition seasonal chocolates that showcase our chocolatiers’ creativity. You’ll leave with a £5 voucher to spend in the shop so you can take a few of your favorite tastes home with you.

Embark on an immersive tasting tour of Bermondsey’s famed Beer Mile, led by a seasoned beer sommelier. With me as your guide to three of South East London’s most exciting breweries, you’ll skip the queues and step into private tasting sessions. • We’ll start at Southwark Brewery, then visit the Barrel Project and the Dutch Tap Room. Each stop will showcase a different style, including experimental barrel-aged brews and bold keg beers. • I’ll share insights on flavor profiles and brewing techniques, and introduce you to the characters and stories behind the evolution of Bermondsey’s craft beer culture. • We’ll also pause for a food break at one of London’s viral food spots, Maltby Street Market, where you’ll find an array of gourmet street food to complement your tasting journey. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of how to taste beer, learn about the history of London’s brewing scene, and come away with insider tips for the craft beers and breweries you’ll want to discover next.
